Anticipate using for ED holds and opening of additional beds
May float to a different area every shift.
May be asked to float partially in the shift.
Must schedule 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
Required to schedule one major and one minor holiday per year.

Days (7:00am – 7:00pm) or Nights (7:00pm - 7:00am)
Location:
11801 South Fwy, Burleson, TX 76028 ( Willing to travel to our Mansfield facility - 2300 Lone Star Road, Mansfield, TX 76063 )
The role you’ll contribute The Staff RN coordinates the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization of and monitors health care resources; and provides input and information to the interdisciplinary team via the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Staff RN will adhere to and follow the goals, philosophy, policies, standards and guidelines of Texas Health Huguley.

Conducts thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
Identifies patient needs, health problems, and risk factors.
Sets realistic, measurable goals for patient outcomes.
Documents patient outcomes and any changes in condition accurately and promptly.
Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed.
Educates patients and families about health conditions and care strategies.
Administers treatments, medications, and interventions according to care plans.
Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Develops individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
Other duties as assigned.
Provides trach care, including cleaning and maintenance, to ensure airway patency.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide support.
Operates cardiac monitoring equipment to assess and track heart function.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of Texas, or in a qualifying compact state Required
