Help us grow our team to improve access to behavioral health services! The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a full-time clinical track faculty psychologist in Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health to provide clinical services and education in our new outpatient Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health clinic. The psychologist will work in a new interprofessional outpatient clinic with psychology, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, integrative medicine, and psychiatry. As part of the larger UVA Health Children's system, the clinic serves all children regardless of insurance status and language preference.
Responsibilities
Outpatient mental and behavioral health assessment and intervention for youth and families at the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health clinic
Providing consultation to medical and interprofessional teams
Teaching medical fellows, residents, and medical students
Participation on departmental and health system committees

Qualifications
PhD/PsyD or equivalent from an APA-accredited program
Completed an APA-accredited internship
Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
Skilled in interprofessional practice in a complex, academic medical environment
Expect to obtain board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology once eligible
About UVA Health and Charlottesville Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health provides clinical service for the Department of Pediatrics and UVA Health Children\'s Hospital. The Section currently is comprised of eleven pediatric and clinical child psychologists and is expanding. The faculty work closely with pediatricians, fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, and multi-disciplinary allied health staff, and have strong relationships with community providers and other UVA Health subspecialists.
