The Tool Room/IMRL Manager is responsible for managing technical supply and inventory control related to tools and IMRL (Individual Material Readiness List) items in support of aircraft maintenance. The role includes oversight of tool issuance, calibration, storage, requisitioning, and return tracking, ensuring strict adherence to procedures and security requirements. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Tool Room/IMRL Manager, Responsibilities Include: Manage and catalog inventory of tools and IMRL to support aircraft maintenance. Maintain records using METCAL/Support Equipment Resource Management Information Systems. Ensure calibration of all METCAL items. Issue, track, and inspect common/specialized tools, hand tools, and measuring devices. Perform regular inventory checks, handle requisitions, and resolve discrepancies. Inspect tools for wear or defects and report damaged tools. Mark and identify tools using various marking methods (e.g., electric marking tools, tags). Maintain cleanliness and preservation of tools using grease or protective sprays. Search for and recover lost or misplaced tools. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Tool Room/IMRL Manager, Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of IMRL Asset Manager Course C-55S-2020, or Support Equipment Asset Managers Course D-555-0026. Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience performing tool room/IMRL management functions as outlined above. Personnel assigned to this role must meet stringent security requirements due to the sensitivity of the work: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Must have a current Tier 3 investigation with enrollment in the Continuous Vetting (CV) program at the time of contract award. If required, must have current Top-Secret clearance with a Tier 5 investigation, enrolled in the CV program, effective on the first day of Period of Performance (excluding CLIN 0001). If assigned to Presidential Support Activities (PSAs), personnel must: Have a Tier 5 investigation with CV enrollment at contract award. Meet Yankee White access criteria by the first day of Period of Performance. Undergo pre-screening and nomination as specified in DoD Directive 5210.55 and DoDI 5210.87.
