Lee Health is seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician! Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624-bed acute care facility located centrally in Fort Myers, FL. The hospital offers 24/7 emergency care and houses the Neuroscience Institute, advanced cardiac catheterization, orthopedics, and general surgery. The Neuroscience division performs minimally-invasive procedures to treat stroke and has a dedicated neuroscience ICU.

Position Details: LPG Pulmonology
seeks a BE/BC physician in
Critical Care Medicine
and
Pulmonary Medicine
to join their team. The role involves working in the new ICU at Gulf Coast Medical Center, with a mix of outpatient pulmonary medicine and inpatient critical care, at least 50% outpatient. Candidates should be proficient in intubation, ventilator management, and procedures such as chest tube placement, arterial lines, and HD catheters.
Job Highlights:

No outside ICU work or code management expected
No overnight ICU on-call duties
Partially closed ICU with mandatory critical care consultations
Collaborate with a team of intensivists providing evidence-based care
