Lee Health is seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician! Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624-bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers, FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, advanced cardiac catheterization procedures, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care. The Neuroscience division performs minimally-invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit. Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 13,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 750 employed primary care and specialty care providers with nearly 90 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

is seeking a physician
board eligible/board certified
in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine to join their busy team. This high-quality physician group is team-oriented, hardworking, and covers the brand new intensive care unit at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Candidates for this position will be interested in doing both outpatient pulmonary medicine and inpatient critical care. They will be proficient in intubation, management of ventilators, and placement of chest tubes, arterial lines, and HD catheters. Some key benefits of this position are 1) Advanced Provider support, 2) No expectation of work outside of ICU/no management of codes, 3) Partially closed unit with mandatory critical care consultations, and 4) Work with a collegial team of intensivists that provide good quality evidence-based care.
