As an engineering associate, you will apply civil, environmental, and water resources engineering design principles on various projects, including: Preparing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling evaluations. Using GIS tools for hydrologic analysis in Water Resources projects. Producing storm calculations and analyzing stormwater using software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and developing storm drainage plans. Assisting with capital improvement and watershed planning studies. Interacting with plan reviewers and other disciplines within the company. Designing sediment traps, basins, erosion control devices, and stormwater management facilities. Preparing nutrient management calculations and floodplain analyses, including FEMA map revisions. Developing watershed analyses and technical reports. Managing floodplain development permits and providing guidance to junior staff. Preparing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience, is highly preferred. Experience with water resources/stormwater projects, internships, or research is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required. Additional Information
