Could you be the full-time onsite Electrical Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You’ll play a key role in designing and integrating electrical systems for Automated People Mover vehicles, ensuring reliable and safe operation. Your daily tasks include working closely with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to implement electrical components, creating electrical drawings, and supporting power system studies such as fault current analyses and load flow calculations.

We’ll look to you for:

Specifying electrical apparatus for projects.

Producing vehicle electrical schematic diagrams, specifications, and managing wire lists and bills of materials.

Selecting high and low voltage cables and sizing over-current protective devices.

Applying knowledge of power and communication network signals.

Selecting distribution equipment while maintaining a system-level understanding of the electrical system.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper implementation into vehicle structures.

Developing management skills to meet customer and internal expectations.

Providing hands-on integration support during manufacturing.

Creating and maintaining electrical drawings, bills of materials, and supporting manufacturing and procurement.

Supporting power system studies like protective device coordination, fault current, and load flow analyses.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience with electrical or power distribution engineering (5-8 years).

Knowledge of electrical principles, cabling, circuit breaker selection, and power system studies.

Familiarity with relay logic and E3 schematic software.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Adaptability to evolving project requirements.

Hands-on experience with integration and manufacturing processes.

Resilience in managing complex design challenges.

Commitment to continuous learning and growth.
