Position We’re seeking a driven, competitive Sales Account Manager to manage toxicology accounts across Utah. This is a fast‑paced, high‑impact role that requires frequent travel and strong self‑direction.
The ideal candidate is actively selling in the field, ideally within healthcare, and ready to take on a territory with uncapped earning potential. While this role demands independence and initiative, it’s also highly collaborative. You’ll have the support of an experienced team, hands‑on training, and are expected to contribute to shared goals and strategies.
Description Full‑time, W2, field‑based
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Semi‑flexible schedule after training
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to capture and grow market share across Utah
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through persistence, creativity, and solutions‑focused approaches
Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
Lead contract negotiations and guide prospects through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals
Deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the value of our services
Stay ahead of competitive market trends to anticipate client needs
Collaborate with internal teams to execute targeted campaigns and optimize sales efforts
Provide excellent post‑sale support to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Track and report on sales metrics, maintaining accountability for achieving and exceeding goals
Proactively manage a travel‑heavy schedule throughout Utah while maintaining consistent client contact
Document sales activity and pipeline progress in CRM tools to support visibility and forecasting
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in any industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in competitive sales environments
Experience in territory‑based field sales involving regular travel to client sites
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proactive, driven attitude
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Utah
Proficiency with CRM systems, mobile tools, and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Workspace, Zoom)
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical or healthcare sales experience, ideally involving diagnostics or lab services
Experience selling to or working with SNFs, outpatient clinics, physician groups, or mobile healthcare services
Experience building a book of business from the ground up, including cold outreach
Familiarity with healthcare buyer personas (e.g., physicians, administrators, procurement staff)
Understanding of toxicology, molecular diagnostics, or clinical laboratory services
Knowledge of industry regulations or workflows in diagnostics (e.g., CLIA, HIPAA)
Experience in presenting to healthcare decision‑makers or clinicians
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred but not required
Job Type: Full‑time, W2
Salary & Compensation:
Base salary: $75,000 annually
Performance‑based bonuses; high performers are typically on track to earn six figures within their first year (bonus details provided by the hiring manager)
Travel and mileage reimbursement
Company credit card provided for approved expenses
Benefits for full‑time W2 Team Members: Benefits begin 60 days after the first full month of full‑time employment.
