The Workforce Technology team leads the planning, implementation, and sustainment of technologies supporting seamless and unique workforce experiences for The Walt Disney Company. We’re seeking a Lead Project Manager who specializes in Agile practices and methodologies. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Agile software delivery practices across HR technology. This position is crucial for driving innovation and ensuring the successful adoption of Agile methodologies within the company. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving complex problems, mentoring team members, and negotiating innovative solutions. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to guide and influence others. The Product Management & Operations Team is responsible for the seamless product management of a portfolio of workforce technology solutions. This role will lead agile events for the product management team responsible for a portfolio of learning, talent, performance and employee survey technologies to ensure product delivery aligns with business objectives and drives rapid business value. Responsibilities of Role

Facilitate the adoption of Disney-defined Agile best practices for product management teams. Mentor and guide teams in developing maturity in our team Agile methodologies. Develop, implement and maintain Agile processes, principles, and practices across supported teams. Conduct ongoing assessments of Agile capabilities and provide input for continuous improvement. Lead agile events with product teams including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, etc. Support the Product Manager in prioritizing product roadmap initiatives relative to business needs. Support the Product Owner with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Drive consistent metric tracking and dashboard visualization for internal teams and stakeholders. Articulate team risk areas and key accomplishments regularly. Engage with stakeholders, partners, and customers to review Agile practices adoption. Provide hands-on support and facilitate understanding of Agile practices across cross-functional teams. Participate in Product Delivery for assigned applications. Provide application support for assigned applications. Must Haves

Minimum of 7 years of related work experience. Strong experience facilitating Scrum processes and events. Proven experience in various agile methodologies. Experience delivering and supporting SaaS applications. Facilitating getting the work done across self-governing resources. Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Attention to detail and Agile coaching expertise. Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies, project management or cloud technologies. Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives independently and influencing without authority. Nice To Haves

Passionate about Agile practices. Experience with Human Resource SaaS suites (especially SuccessFactors or Workday). Experience using ServiceNow agile capabilities. Motivation to thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, programming, information systems or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience. #DISNEYTECH Compensation & Benefits

The hiring range for this position in California is $155,700 - $208,700 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
