The Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) is dedicated to helping residents of Nueces County living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care, and more. The posted rate for this position is

$66,810.52 to $91,055 . The salary offered will typically start at or near the minimum of this range but may be negotiated higher based on experience and qualifications. General Description:

Under supervision of the MH Adult Services Director, oversees daily operations of programs including MH Intake, MCOT, Pathways, Outpatient Competency Restoration, Jail Based Competency Restoration, Crisis Intervention Team, SUD Community Health Worker Program, Turning Point, and PATH. Responsibilities include establishing goals, developing guidelines, procedures, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and developing and managing budgets. Plans, assigns, and supervises staff work. Works under general supervision with some autonomy. Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of an advanced degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention. At least five years of management experience in a relevant division or department. Familiarity with HHSC/LMHA/crisis care systems services. Preferred: Licensure in Texas or reciprocity as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and/or Family Therapist. Must have a valid Texas driver's license, liability insurance, and a good driving record. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding trauma-informed care practices; knowledge of laws related to adult mental health; principles of public administration and management. Ability to manage programs, establish goals, solve administrative problems, develop policies, prepare reports, communicate effectively, and supervise staff. Benefits:
