About The Position Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to perform advanced vocational nursing work at a facility in Nueces County, Texas. The ideal LVN will Provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements: • Completion of an Approved LVN Program • Current unencumbered nursing license to practice in Texas • Two years’ experience in nursing in an acute or long-term care setting • Current American Heart Association CPR certification • Pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities: • Perform routine vocational nursing work. • Provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. • Deliver care, treatment, and general welfare of patients. • Operate under moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. • Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. • Execute nursing duties within assigned areas and shifts. • Perform both basic and complex nursing tasks to address individuals’ health needs. • Adhere to all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures. • Maintain current CPR certification. • Demonstrate strength and flexibility to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) safely.
