HTeaO, a thriving franchise in the tea industry, is growing fast, and so is our need for a passionate and organized Buyer – Snacks, Food and Beverage to help fuel that momentum! We are seeking a strategic and detail-orientedBuyerwith proven experience in sourcing and purchasingsnacks, food, and beverage products. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality products that align with our brand and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities
Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure category initiatives are executed effectively. Drive category performance reviews and prepare reports for leadership on KPIs such as sales, margin, and turns. Ensure category management aligns with overall company objectives and brand standards. Recommend and implement planogram and merchandising strategies to maximize customer engagement. Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions. Develop and execute category strategies to optimize sales, margin, and market share. Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle decisions within assigned categories. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and service. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, secure favorable terms, and build strategic partnerships. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service standards. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data in procurement systems. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or service. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in a buying or procurement role, specifically in snacks, food, or beverage categories (soft goods and apparel experience is a plus). Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and industry standards. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
