Job Title - Senior Manager, Major Projects Procurement Location - Oakland, CA (Hybrid) This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland based on business needs. Description: Position Summary The Senior Manager of Major Projects Procurement will play a critical leadership role in standing up our first dedicated procurement function for capital projects. This individual will be responsible for developing the sourcing strategy, building and leading a high-performing team, and overseeing the procurement of goods and services that support our most complex and high-value infrastructure initiatives. Reporting Relationship:

The Senior Manager, Major Projects Procurement will report to the Senior Director, Construction Services Strategic Sourcing. Job Responsibilities: Manages procurement team to achieve performance consistent with system-wide sourcing and contracting goals. Responsible to manage a large capital project spend portfolio. Collaborates with internal performance management teams to define and track metrics that assess procurement effectiveness, supplier performance, and cost savings. Prepares and delivers regular presentations regarding supplier performance, procurement-driven cost performance, sourcing pipeline updates, and budget tracking. Ensures procurement staff work cross-functionally to understand project scopes, plan sourcing timelines, and execute end-to-end procurement activities. Drives supplier relationship management processes, including scorecarding, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversees contract administration processes, including change order approvals, claims management, invoice validation, reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and sourcing policies. Monitors industry best practices and procurement trends. Manages procurement staff through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and recognition to build a high-performing capital sourcing team. Background Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field. 10 years of total related experience. Experience managing capital, O&M, and labor budgets. Experience in construction contracts with deep knowledge in EPC/DB/PDB type delivery methods. Desired Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an MBA Experience in construction contracts leading large teams. Financial and business acumen, including strong knowledge of contract administration and construction management. Strong analytical and strategic decision making skills Strong communication and presentation skills with various levels of contacts. Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills. Project management; ability to direct the preparation of schedules, records, and reports of work progress, future projects, and evaluate completed tasks. Description: Position Summary The Major Projects Contract Manager, Principal will be a part of the first dedicated procurement function for capital projects. Job Responsibilities Leads the most complex cross-functional projects and contracts For assigned projects be a SPOC for procurement from project initiation through completion. Follow seven step sourcing process Support the development project procurement work process Advises senior leadership on contracting strategy and negotiations. Negotiates the most complex contract issues independently. Leads the effort to identify, analyze, improve existing business processes. Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment. Acts as a primary liaison for the contracts team to PG&E’s Legal Department. Provides active guidance, support, mentorship and training to less experienced contract management staff. Develops and delivers contract management training to all stakeholders. Collaborates with other PG&E Lines of Business to promote knowledge sharing and use of best practices. Description: Position Summary The Major Projects Contract Manager, Expert will be a part of the first dedicated procurement function for capital projects. Job Responsibilities: Acts as a subject matter expert regarding all contracting matters, providing direction and strategy recommendations. For assigned projects be a SPOC for procurement from project initiation through completion. Follow seven step sourcing process Support the development project procurement work process Manages more complex contracts and change order terms. Develops complex scorecards to assess contract performance. Independently facilitates vendor performance discussions. Negotiates major dispute settlement with internal stakeholders and vendors. Creates new and innovative approaches, tools and tactics to solve complex problems. Leads cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives. Description: Position Summary The Manager, Vegetation Management Strategic Sourcing role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with the goals of the Vegetation Management portfolio. Job Responsibilities: Establish a high-performance team to develop strategic portfolio and category plans. Ensures the overall governance of the contract approval process from contract creation through contract award. Oversees contract spend across multiple spend categories Develops short and long term strategies for all spend categories within portfolio Leads complex cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives Manages spend analysis, needs assessment, benchmarking and business case development Leads development and execution of negotiation strategies Monitors and maximizes customer satisfaction using standardized client service level agreements Manages continuous improvement-based relationships that deliver mutually beneficial results for PG&E and its suppliers Establishes service level agreements to hold suppliers accountable for performance Approves purchase orders and contracts from $500,000 to $10 million Directly supervises Sourcing Supervisors, Category Leaders and Sourcing Specialists.
