Overview
Our client is a leading maker of RF components for Infrastructure, Defense/Aerospace, and Photonics markets. They are seeking a
Supply Chain Planner
who will be responsible for generating and maintaining a supply plan for Contract Equipment Manufacturers in support of Master Production Schedule and Customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Generate and maintain a supply plan for Contract Equipment Manufacturers in support of Master Production Schedule and Customer requirements.
Collaborate with in-house manufacturing, customer service, and engineering to ensure timely delivery and alignment with demand.
Maintain focus on finished products; may also work with assemblies, subassemblies, and modules as needed.
Primary role is 80% planning and 20% purchasing; less emphasis on working with external vendors and contractors.
Remain within manufacturing as a functional focus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant) or equivalent.
2–5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, ideally within the Defense and Aerospace industry with a focus on RF/Microwave Modules.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP heavily preferred) in a medium-to-high volume manufacturing environment.
Experience with production planning and material flow in a manufacturing setting; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Must be a Green Card Holder or U.S. citizen.
Energetic, forward-looking personality with strong communication and collaboration skills.
