This role will serve as a key representative of DaVita’s value proposition, promoting our dialysis clinic service excellence and ensuring a positive experience for nephrologists interacting with DaVita facilities. The Physician Manager will also serve as the central point of contact for physician engagement and collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously improve service delivery and communication.### **Essential Duties & Responsibilities****Relationship Building – 65%*** Proactively engage with nephrologists and select practice managers in the DFW area.* Educate physicians about DaVita’s dialysis clinic value proposition, including:
+ Clinic locations and availability
+ Prime shift capacity
+ Home dialysis programs
+ Higher-acuity capabilities (e.g., LVAD support)
+ OneView physician note system
+ DaVita’s unique culture and service excellence
+ Kidney Smart CKD education program* Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing dialysis clinic service-related concerns from nephrologists.**Engagement with Field Teammates – 20%*** Collaborate with Regional Operations Directors (RODs), Facility Administrators (FAs), and home dialysis leaders to enhance physician engagement and upskill internal teams.* Share relevant intelligence on physician practices with DaVita field leadership.* Work closely with the Pegasus Senior Director of Business Development to align on physician engagement strategy.**Administrative Responsibilities – 15%*** Develop and maintain detailed practice profiles to enhance institutional knowledge of the nephrology landscape in DFW.* Maintain accurate engagement reporting using Salesforce.* Create and manage outreach tools and resources, including clinic location maps and other geographic or physician-specific materials.### **Qualifications & Experience*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required.* **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, sales, or operations—particularly in medical practice management, hospitals, or ambulatory care.* **Preferred Knowledge:** Familiarity with diabetes and/or End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) is a plus, but not required.* Strong relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a proactive communication style are essential for success in this role.At DaVita, we’re united by a mission to deliver exceptional care to patients with chronic kidney disease.
