Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Gastroenterology Opportunity
Facility: Kootenai Clinic Department: Kootenai Clinic - Gastroenterology Kootenai Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with experience preferred in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or medical specialties, to practice at our GI clinic located in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork, and patient satisfaction, and have experience working with medically complex patient populations in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities: Manage the liver disease patient panel in collaboration with the physician group. Full-time schedule will include 32 hours of direct patient appointment time per week in a clinic and hospital-based model. Work with a team of 7 established physicians and 7 APPs in a growing GI clinic. Utilize embedded full-time specialty pharmacist support for prior authorizations, infusions, and enrollment in patient assistance programs. Receive robust support in other specialties including radiology, surgery, and medical sub-specialties.
