Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team!
Shift:
Part time
- 8 hour shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Call required. Position Overview: The unit has 5 rooms for Echos. The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The Echocardiographer will work in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and will also work with patients at the bedside. Required Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a High School Diploma. Experience as an Echo Tech can substitute for formal education. License and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS) required within 12 months of hire. Other Requirements: At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience. Benefits:
