We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees. Our Columbia office has an opportunity for a Business Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced business immigration practice. Under attorney supervision, the immigration paralegal is responsible for the preparation and filing of petitions and visa applications. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys. This is an onsite role within our Columbia, SC office. Candidates should reside locally to the Columbia area. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

Under attorney supervision, prepare and file petitions and visa applications. Compile and analyze case facts, draft correspondence, and maintain and organize client documentation. Communicate directly with multiple attorneys to coordinate case strategy and deadlines.

Requirements

Degree from an accredited college or university and/or paralegal certification is required. Strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to work independently toward team goals. Outstanding organizational skills. Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.
