SUMMARY

The Quality and HSSE Systems Manager is responsible for Developing and sustaining the Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems in line with the required industry standards (including but not limited to: ISO 9001, API Q1, AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), accreditation, regulatory, and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures. Regulating, controlling and improving the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product. Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company. Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Verifies that business practices are being executed in accordance with the requirements of the QMS and HSEMS. Works with process owners to ensure that procedures and work instructions reflect the actual processes and meet the requirements of all relevant management standards. Develop the Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements for key milestones, demonstrating solid progress against plan. Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met. Liaison with external bodies on all matters relating to registration. Maintain and improve, in line with business needs Implement all relevant procedures described in the QMS and HSEMS Management of certification and customer audits. Development and facilitation of internal and supplier audit program. Development and implementation of a training program for internal auditors. Maintain internal audit schedule including assuring the correct internal audit teams are assigned and review of the internal audit reports. Management the Corrective Action Request (CAR) system including facilitation of verification of Corrective Action Requests closing actions effectiveness. Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly including management of the QMS and HSEMS documentation. Facilitate process owners in development of procedures and work instructions Provide direction for control of customer supplied documents. Develops written documentation and procedures related to quality requirements and/or criteria. Undertake continuous training and development Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports including communication of KPIs from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well – being of staff and visitors Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels. Motivate and coach the team to operational success Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them Review, implement and update company records e.g. training matrices, performance reviews, risk assessments Provide technical expertise to the team Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, (Quality, Mechanical or Industrial) Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education. Quality systems knowledge, including auditing. Strong leadership skills with experience in working within a technical team. Problem solving skills using Six Sigma methodology or other recognized approaches (Kepner-Tregoe, 8D) Working knowledge of Core quality tools: SPC MSA PPAP, FMEA Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Strong verbal, written, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Ability to comprehend Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook / Excel / Word / Power Point / Visio). Quality Management System Auditing experience using any of the following standards: ISO 9001, AS 9100C & API Q1. ASQ Certifications or equivalent required (CQE, CQA) Self-directed Ability to prioritize, manages time well, multitasks and troubleshoots. Ability to interact effectively at all personnel levels and with all functional departments to achieve the objective of the quality management system. Ability to perform tasks within tight time constraints Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis. High energy, ability to achieve commitments, customer focused Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential because document control specialists regularly communicate with internal and external business partners. Must work extensively in cross-functional team with Inside Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing. Apply total quality management tools and methodologies to analytical and reporting processes. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Splits time between office and shop environments. May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
