Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location. Position : Engineering Lead Analyst Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and implement IT projects for strategic monitoring and observability tools including AppDynamics, Splunk, BSM, Aternity, and Evolven. Serve as a liaison between business and technical users to determine appropriate solutions satisfying business needs and compliance requirements, including application architecture and functionality reviews. Provide application process monitoring to ensure standards and deadlines are met, including log and event monitoring, end-user monitoring, and change reconciliation monitoring to maintain visibility and report on the stability of critical applications and services. Identify monitoring gaps, remediate as needed, and refine monitoring strategy to improve metrics such as mean time to detect and mean time to recovery of incidents. Collaborate across teams to remove technical roadblocks for complex monitoring implementations and maintain stakeholder relations. Serve as a subject matter expert in AppDynamics and Evolven, providing technical expertise to production service managers to drive solutions weekly. Drive project deliverables for monitoring and observability tools across various tech stacks including WebSphere, Tibco Business Works, Tibco Enterprise Messaging System, Message Queue, Web Servers, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and OpenShift. Collaborate with senior management and advise on strategic implementations; leverage understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) including application development, performance testing procedures, and engineering certification processes. Adhere to Citi policies regarding telecommuting/hybrid work arrangements within a commutable distance from the worksite. Qualifications

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or related field, and 5 years of experience in roles involving monitoring of applications and services in the financial services industry; or Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Experience must include: Technology stacks: WebSphere, Tibco Business Works, Tibco Enterprise Messaging System, Message Queue, Web Servers, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and OpenShift; SDLC including application development, performance testing, and engineering certification processes; Implementation of monitoring and observability tools including AppDynamics, Splunk, BSM, and Evolven; AppDynamics for application process monitoring to identify bottlenecks and reduce outages; Splunk Log Analytics with custom queries, dashboards, and alerts; Evaluating how to connect and enable correlation of application performance with business transactions across impacted systems; and Experience with complex ecosystems combining cloud and legacy technologies (including mainframe and monolith servers). Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: Aternity to analyze user interactions and performance metrics for end-user monitoring (dashboards, alerts, and business transactions); and Change reconciliation monitoring using Evolven to track/validate changes, including deploying agents and meeting custom requirements. Wage Range:
