Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary: North Knox CDJR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in various systems and components. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Pay is based on experience and is Flat Rate. Fully heated and cooled shop! Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and powertrain components. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify problems accurately. Execute welding tasks as necessary for repairs or modifications. Provide auto estimating services to assist customers in understanding repair costs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, with a solid understanding of automotive systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment. Experience working with ADAS technology is a plus. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and powertrain components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
