Belay Technologies seeks a System Engineer to join our intel team. We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Scrum Master skills to provide the engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. The individual will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users. They will have a good understanding of the customer data flow architecture. They will work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows in support of the DTS TTO.

Elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and develop roadmaps for implementing end-to-end data flows.

Document artifacts and roadmaps; transform data flows into a standard data model.

Establish and maintain good customer relationships; engage with external customers to understand data needs and user requirements.

Work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.

Qualifications

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline, plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience

Or: High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience

Or: Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline, plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience

Or: PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience

Experience working in an agile environment

Strong project management skills

Experience providing roadmaps and schedules for end-to-end data flows and understanding system-to-system data connections

Ability to align sprint priorities with roadmap projections and goals

Knowledge of customer infrastructure, resources, and deployment processes

Ability to track and monitor action items and dependencies

Strong working skills with Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Desirable: SAFe or Scrum Master certification

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
