Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Planner

Agnico Eagle Mines' Macassa Mine is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Mine Maintenance Planning General Supervisor and will be part of the Mine Maintenance Planning Team.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Translating reliability strategies into executable maintenance plans for fixed plant and mobile electrical & instrumentation assets;
Developing and optimizing preventive maintenance (PM) task lists and job plans, including electrical, instrumentation and control system scope;
Preparing and maintaining detailed Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and task lists for both fixed and mobile E&I assets;
Developing Standard Job Plans (SJPs) and work instructions aligned with operational procedures and safety protocols;
Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and initiating service-related purchase requisitions (PRs);
Supporting capital project planning by providing Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation;
Forecasting and monitoring labor, contractor, and material demands based on upcoming work;
Contributing to the development and ongoing tracking of annual OPEX and CAPEX maintenance budgets;
Maintaining and updating rolling 1-month, 3-month and a 52-week maintenance plan;
Providing data and reports to monitor budget consumption and maintenance performance metrics;
Preparing and supporting commissioning readiness PM plans and defining critical spare parts for new equipment;
Assembling complete job packages including scope of work, safety permits, technical prints, and documentation;
Ensuring that instrumentation and control systems are fully integrated into planning documents and maintenance workflows;
Coordinating with Procurement and Contracts for material availability and third-party support;
Backfilling mobile/fixed planners when needed to ensure continuity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or related field;
5+ years of experience in E&I maintenance planning, ideally in both fixed plant and mobile equipment;
Proficiency in CMMS (SAP/JDE) and maintenance planning tools;
Strong knowledge of medium voltage motors, VFDs, substations, transformers, instrumentation systems, and ventilation fans;
Experience in muck circuit plants, conveyors, hoists (cage and skip) and battery-electric mobile equipment such as jumbos, scoops and trucks;
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills;
Commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement.
Your work schedule will be 4 days on-site by 3 days off, at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
