All** ****Shifts*****Must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties assigned.***SUMMARY:**This position is responsible for, but not limited to:* Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.* Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction* Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems* Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations* Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule* Complete appropriate paperwork and reports* Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs* Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs* Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision* Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision* Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed* Perform other duties as assigned* Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity.
