Responsibilities
Physical Therapist Summary: Provides physical therapy services to patients, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, in accordance with professional principles and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, developing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and Rehab Techs, and case management. Maintains professional conduct reflecting Reliant’s commitment to quality and service, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Enhance patient functionality and skills through physical therapy interventions Provide consultation and supervision to PTAs Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during group and individual treatments, promoting resource efficiency and clinical skill development, in accordance with state laws and policies Develop and strengthen the physical therapy program Improve clinical, professional, and managerial skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about professional and healthcare environment issues Understand relevant billing and treatment guidelines, and deliver quality, goal-oriented care within those parameters Follow infection control and safety protocols Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking Qualifications
Education/Experience: Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program Computer Skills: Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation Certificates and Licenses: Valid physical therapist license in the state of practice Interested in learning more about us or other opportunities?
