Overview
We are seeking a Locums Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide 24-hour call coverage and rounding at a Level II NICU in Ontario, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting, caring for newborns requiring specialized attention while supporting high-risk deliveries. Compensation
$1100/24 Hour Call Day including 6 Hour Gratis - $170/Hour Call Back Position Details
Practice Setting:
Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Shift Structure:
24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) Schedule:
24-hour call and rounding, flexible scheduling preferred Weekend Requirements:

EPIC Responsibilities
Provide care for neonates in a Level II NICU Admit, round on, and discharge NICU patients Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including: Intubations UVC line placements Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and delivery teams Document all patient care and procedures accurately in EPIC Requirements
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Active Oregon State License NCC Certification Proficiency in neonatal intubation and UVC line placement Experience providing independent care in a Level II NICU setting Ontario is a welcoming community located along the Snake River near the Oregon-Idaho border. Known for its small-town charm, beautiful landscapes, and access to outdoor recreation such as hiking, fishing, and rafting, Ontario offers a relaxed pace of life while still being close to Boise, Idaho, for urban amenities.
