Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a 336-bed facility that is part of The Valley Health System in the Las Vegas area. The Women’s Center provides comprehensive women’s services, including digital mammography, gynecologic care and surgery, maternity services with labor, delivery and recovery, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Job Description

Responsible for managing clinical nutrition, diet office and dietary needs of the patients. Administrative responsibilities include department’s Performance Improvement, formulary, and assisting in meeting all state, federal and The Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association Experience:

At least two years clinical experience in an acute care hospital or institutional food service facility License/Certification:

Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian from the American Dietetics Association (ADA). State licensure may be required by Nevada State Law. Specialty certifications (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required for a specialty position. Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Technical Skills:

Computer proficient. Blood Borne Pathogens Exposure Category:

Category III: Job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, non-intact skin or tissue specimens. Incumbent does not perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid as part of the job.
