Receptionist – Warsaw Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center, Warsaw, NC

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a multi‑line telephone and paging system; answer calls, determine the nature of the call and route it to the appropriate party.
• Greets and directs all visitors, ensures sign‑in and refuses entry to unauthorized persons.
• Receive, sort and forward incoming mail; coordinate pick‑up and express mail delivery.
• Maintain accurate lists of residents by name, room number and key personnel; handle sensitive resident information confidentially.
• Report all resident concerns, hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to the supervisor.
• Respond to inquiries regarding job openings and distribute job applications to prospective employees.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and in‑services as directed; respond to special requests made by residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Previous front‑office or customer‑service experience in healthcare or long‑term care settings.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with phone systems, paging and basic office equipment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism with resident information.
