Bilingual Receptionist – Cerritos

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Bilingual Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system.
  • Provide information and support in both languages as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff or meeting rooms.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Translate documents or conversations when necessary.
  • Support other departments with clerical tasks as requested.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a customer-facing role in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
