Human Resources Generalist - Talent Management
- Compile payroll data from electronic timekeeping system and input HR/payroll data; track bi-weekly payroll and timecard cycle.
- Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Maintain records of vacation and sick leave.
- Prepare detailed payroll reports for accounting department.
- Administer compensation and benefit plans.
- Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Conduct employee onboarding and organize training and development initiatives.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Review and update HR and employee‑related forms to ensure current compliance.
- Assist in development and implementation of HR policies.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Create employee communication materials for HR to employees.
- Assist with updating corporate records and policies (handbook, checklists).
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefit programs.
- Respond to HR‑related inquiries.
- Create and initiate employee engagement plans.
- Organize team building activities.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- 3‑5 years HR experience.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
- Understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of state and federal employment regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi‑task, and work under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks, and assignments.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Desire to work as a team with a results‑driven approach.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Knowledge of ADP.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- PHR or SPHR certification (a plus).
