Human Resources Generalist - Talent Management
Compile payroll data from electronic timekeeping system and input HR/payroll data; track bi-weekly payroll and timecard cycle.
Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
Maintain records of vacation and sick leave.
Prepare detailed payroll reports for accounting department.
Administer compensation and benefit plans.
Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Conduct employee onboarding and organize training and development initiatives.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Review and update HR and employee‑related forms to ensure current compliance.
Assist in development and implementation of HR policies.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Create employee communication materials for HR to employees.
Assist with updating corporate records and policies (handbook, checklists).
Collaborate with the HR team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefit programs.
Respond to HR‑related inquiries.
Create and initiate employee engagement plans.
Organize team building activities.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field (preferred).
3‑5 years HR experience.
Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
Understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
Good knowledge of state and federal employment regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize workload, multi‑task, and work under pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Capability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks, and assignments.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Desire to work as a team with a results‑driven approach.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
Knowledge of ADP.
Manufacturing industry experience.
PHR or SPHR certification (a plus).
