Overview
CSC Contracts and Grants department seeks an accounting professional with knowledge of college/university finance and accounting systems. This temporary position will complete routine accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Journal vouchers
- Project modification requests (PMR) for budget modifications
- Subawards
- No cost extensions (NCE) and related accounting procedures
- Salary redistributions and close outs
- Voucher processing
- Vendor setup for travel reimbursements and travel authorizations
- Process travel reimbursements and travel authorizations
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of WolfPack Reporting Systems (WRS) and NCSU Financial systems.
- Working knowledge of college/university finance and accounting systems and routine accounting tasks.
