Century Group is hiring: Accounting Specialist in San Francisco

Century Group has partnered with a great non-profit organization who is in search for an Accounting Specialist. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $34 to $35 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices for reasonableness and completion, record into Quickbooks and process payment timely and accurately.
• Review credit card transactions for reasonableness and record into Quickbooks, perform reconciliation and process payment timely and accurately.
• Process payment for recurring expense transactions timely and accurately.
• Process manual payment for ad hoc expenses, employee reimbursement, pay advances and pay adjustments timely and accurately.
• Process and record deposit transactions timely and accurately

Bi-Weekly Payroll

• Participate in bi-weekly payroll processing.

Essential Qualifications

• College degree required; BA / BS degree with an accounting / finance focus preferred.
• Need 2+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and / or complex accounting experience.
• Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
• Experience working in non-profit or public sector preferred.
