Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable daily, ensuring proper classification, coding, and approval.
  • Prepare monthly invoices, monitor outstanding accounts receivable, and follow up on past-due balances.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for the firm's litigation cost fund accounts.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, expense reports, and credit card statements on a regular basis.
  • Prepare financial reports for attorneys and management, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable inquiries.

Requirements

  • Have experience with QuickBooks and FreshBooks, with proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis.
  • Possess at least 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a legal environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage accounting processes efficiently.
  • Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work setting.
