Salary for this position is very competitive and will be based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures and requesting special service.
• Provides maintenance support functions by troubleshooting machine mechanical and electrical concerns, using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge to diagnose and pinpoint deficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs, reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements.
• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in fixturing and tooling design
• CNC programming preferred
• Working with fluid power and mechanical assembly preferred
• Knowledge in G and M Code programming preferred
