Hardware Engineer - EMC Testing & PCB Design We are looking for a Hardware Engineer with EMC Testing & PCB Design experience to support the design validation and compliance testing of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and other electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in PCB design, layout review, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing within an automotive environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and execute EMC validation tests on automotive electronic components and systems. Perform PCB design and layout reviews to ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards and best design practices. Conduct bench‑level and vehicle‑level testing to verify EMC performance. Analyze test data, document findings, and prepare comprehensive test reports. Support root cause analysis and implement corrective design actions for EMC issues. Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure design robustness and compliance. Interface with external test laboratories and ensure adherence to international EMC standards (CISPR, ISO, OEM‑specific). Ensure testing aligns with automotive quality and safety standards (ISO 11452, CISPR 25, ISO 7637, etc.). Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in EMC testing and PCB design/validation within the automotive domain. Proficiency in EMC test setups, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and related tools. Strong understanding of EMI/EMC principles, grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques. Experience with ECU hardware or automotive PCB design using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics. Familiarity with automotive EMC standards (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, ISO 7637, OEM‑specific requirements). Preferred Qualifications Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Exposure to 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA or PLM systems for documentation management. Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and automotive electronics validation processes.
