Description of Work Unit

CEMML is a research, education and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University ( CSU ). CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations. Position Summary

The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands ( CEMML ) at Colorado State University ( CSU ) is seeking to hire employees for various Administrative Professional positions. These positions are available in multiple locations based on project needs. While most roles are based at military installations across the United States, some opportunities are located on-site at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Select positions may also offer hybrid or fully remote work options. Required Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (though some positions may require a degree).

Education or experience in the field of interest.

Effective communication skills, including ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by proposed start date; CEMML cannot provide visa sponsorship for the position.

Preferred Job Qualifications

A degree, certification, and/or license in the field of interest.

Professional experience in the field of interest.

For some positions, the successful candidate must:

Be able to comply with all applicable regulations to obtain a Common Access Card ( CAC ) and/or to complete a NACI /SF85 and/or successfully pass a federal background check.

Have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license by the employment start date.

Have the willingness and ability to walk and/or hike long distances and work outdoors in adverse weather on rugged terrain.

Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
