Sr. Project Manager, M&A Integration ResMed

Partnering with our business verticals and functions, the Strategy and Ventures team is assisting with their near- and longer-term growth strategies, as well as shaping our 2025 corporate strategy. We are also progressing ResMed’s corporate development agenda, focusing on growth through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships and new business creation.

Overview The Senior Project Manager, M&A Integration plays a pivotal role in defining and executing plans to merge acquired entities into Resmed. This role serves as the central point of orchestration across functional workstreams on M&A integration projects, directly impacting each acquisition’s success in realizing its strategic value. Additionally, this position will be instrumental in building and managing the playbooks and tools that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within our integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Planning

Partner with Deal Leads to ensure that diligence outputs support integration readiness

Apply requirements, risks, assumptions, and decisions from diligence to inform integration plans

Adapt integration playbooks and accelerators to each specific M&A deal, allowing for expedited development of integration plans

Collaborate with functional workstream leads to confirm integration activities and interdependencies

Gather inputs and build the integration budget

Synthesize, publish, and manage the comprehensive Integration Plan (workplan, resource plan, assumptions & decisions, risk plan, and budget)

Integration Execution

Engage workstream leads continuously to remain aligned on their integration scope, deliverables, and timelines

Guide workstream leads through integration playbooks, tools, and accelerators to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of their integration work

Proactively address resource capacity and conflicts

Identify and resolve risks, issues, and decisions timely

Build mitigation plans for potential slips in milestone or critical path dates

Support scenario planning and decision-making via data-driven trade-off analyses

Control changes to the Integration Plan (scope, schedule, budget, etc.)

Integration Tracking and Reporting

Track key project, portfolio, and/or process goals and metrics, including financial (budget, synergies, value capture, etc.)

Maintain current project statuses and prepare impactful reports for leadership

Playbook Development and Process Continuous Improvement

Build and maintain effective integration playbooks, tools, and accelerators, ensuring ease-of-use by project team members

Apply an ‘AI-first’, automation-oriented approach in integration playbooks and supporting tools

Embed learnings and business intelligence from current or prior acquisitions into playbooks and future integrations

Monitor compliance with published process and playbook elements

Ideal Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects in global business environments

Proven track record of successful project delivery and critical metric achievement

Strong knowledge of M&A processes and practices

Experience with operating models and/or business transformations

Expertise building and running Smartsheet project environments

Able to communicate efficiently and effectively across all functions and levels

Highly adaptable to change, naturally collaborative, and intellectually curious

Benefits and Compensation We offer competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits. Employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits. Salaried (exempt) employees receive Flexible Time Off (FTO) and hourly employees have Paid Time Off (PTO). The Company provides 14 paid holidays. Primary caregivers are eligible for 14 weeks of paid parental leave, and secondary caregivers are eligible for two weeks. Base Pay Range for this position:

$142,000 - $177,000 - $212,000 USD . For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
