A fast-growing restaurant group backed by a portfolio of iconic quick-service brands is looking for a

Senior FP&A Analyst

to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role serves as a key strategic partner to the executive team—shaping the company’s financial strategy, enhancing unit economics, and driving profitability across both franchised and company-operated locations.

What You’ll Do: Strategic Planning & Forecasting

Lead the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans across multiple business units

Build detailed financial models for revenue, labor, and operating expenses across restaurant operations and franchise activities

Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives and business shifts

Partner with operations and growth leaders to optimize performance at the restaurant and portfolio level

Performance Analysis & Business Partnership

Deliver insightful variance analyses (actuals vs. plan/forecast), identifying key trends and business drivers

Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for leadership teams in Operations, Marketing, and Development

Serve as the go-to finance resource for cross-functional teams, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture

Key Analytics & Value Creation Initiatives

Deep-dive into restaurant unit economics to enhance revenue per unit and profitability

Perform menu engineering and pricing optimization to maximize contribution margins

Analyze financial performance across sales channels (dine-in, takeout, delivery, catering) to guide strategic allocation

Support franchise revenue modeling—covering royalty streams, fees, and marketing fund contributions

Develop financial feasibility models for new markets, restaurant openings, and capital projects

Data, Systems & Automation

Build scalable dashboards and reporting tools in

Power BI, Tableau , or similar BI platforms

Automate recurring processes and strengthen forecasting accuracy through data-driven modeling

Leverage

SQL

and predictive analytics to uncover trends and improve operational performance

Executive Reporting & Communications

Prepare board-level reports, investor materials, and performance presentations for the leadership team

Deliver clear, strategic storytelling that connects financial data with business decisions

***What They Need***

3–6 years

of progressive FP&A, strategy, or corporate finance experience (multi-unit restaurant, retail, or franchise background preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in

Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

(MBA a plus)

Expert-level Excel modeling and strong command of data visualization tools ( Power BI, Tableau )

Experience with

SQL , ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle), or FP&A software (Adaptive Insights, Hyperion)

Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a talent for simplifying complexity into clear, actionable insights

Strong communicator who can influence across teams and levels

Self-starter with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality—comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving business environment
