Overview
Enterprise Account Executive, State & Local – Los Angeles, California. As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will sell into dedicated public‑sector accounts, guiding relationships with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, program managers, and other key partners. You will maintain and grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new opportunities. Responsibilities
Engage and develop relationships with public‑sector decision makers. Close new accounts and expand existing ones, balancing quick, small wins with longer, complex sales cycles. Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Maintain detailed customer information, use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce. Provide solution‑based selling and create value for customers. Promote Databricks’ enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate resources. Develop a success plan for internal alignment and external account execution. Qualifications
5+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas in field sales within big data, cloud, or SaaS. Experience managing state and/or local accounts is preferred. Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other key decision makers. Strong communication of complex cloud technologies. Passion for cloud and data technologies; understanding of Spark and big data is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required. Pay Range Transparency
Zone 1 Pay Range: $245,300 – $343,475 USD (salary plus applicable bonuses, equity, and benefits). Actual compensation will vary based on experience, location, and performance. About Databricks
