Piper Companies is seeking a
VoIP Engineer
to join a well-established team supporting a mature voice infrastructure. The
VoIP Engineer
role is ideal for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in VoIP and SIP technologies, who will focus on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting existing systems rather than building from scratch.
Responsibilities
Serve as the SME for all VoIP and SIP-related technologies within the organization
Support and maintain the existing VoIP infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP signaling, call routing, and voice quality
Qualifications
Must be eligible to hold a Secret clearance
5+ years of experience in network operations or telecom engineering
Deep understanding of SIP, VoIP, and telephony protocols
Compensation
$90,000 – $110,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
