Radiology Manager (MRI) – Full-Time – Days – NYP/CNYPAI
In this crucial leadership role, you’ll guide a high-profile imaging team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional outpatient MRI services. At Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI), we combine academic excellence with clinical innovation to elevate the patient experience.
This is a patient-facing leadership role—you’ll not only oversee daily operations and manage a dedicated team, but also work directly with patients to resolve concerns, ensure smooth patient flow, and uphold our commitment to compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the MRI team, ensuring efficient and high-quality diagnostic services.
Manage staff schedules, inventory, and workflow to support optimal patient care.
Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing concerns and enhancing their experience.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support research initiatives.
Take on special projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
This opportunity will allow you to utilize your strong radiology experience and supervisory skills to coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team and impact research in an Academic Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
Required Criteria
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Certification by one of the following:
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in appropriate modalities (e.g., X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT)
Minimum four years of related clinical experience in radiology Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory capacity We offer a competitive salary range of $121,500-$182,000/Annual.
