Senior Audit Associate Vine Advisors is a boutique audit, tax, and consulting firm founded in 2018 by experienced CPAs, CFAs, and a PhD. Our mission is to deliver high‑quality professional services with precision, insight, and value. We serve a dynamic client base that includes private companies and publicly traded corporations across industries such as energy, manufacturing, and financial services.

We are actively seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our growing assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead engagements, build client relationships, and deliver exceptional audit services that meet and exceed professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute financial statement audits, reviews, and other attestation services for private clients.

Supervise audit engagements in the field, including coordinating team efforts and ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables.

Identify and communicate technical accounting and audit issues to managers and partners, providing solutions‑oriented recommendations.

Maintain a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and relevant reporting frameworks.

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide insight on internal controls, financial processes, and operational improvements.

Contribute to staff development through supervision, training, and mentoring of junior team members.

Support firm leadership with proposal development and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

CPA certification preferred; CPA candidates will be considered.

Minimum 3 years of recent audit experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of managing client engagements.

Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting, risk assessment, and audit execution.

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.

Proficient in identifying risks, assessing controls, and developing audit strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.

Exceptional interpersonal and client service abilities, with a focus on relationship building and client retention.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment.

Experience leading, developing, and motivating staff and interns.
