Position Summary The Audit Associate will be responsible for performing necessary procedures in attestation engagements for clients in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This position will assist audit senior associate and managers with tasks and assigned projects, and work with a diverse client base. The audit associate should be eager to develop the fundamental knowledge and technical skills to grow into a senior role within the firm.
Responsibilities
Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries.
Prepare financial statements, reports and other required compliance information.
Assist with the coordination of the planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of engagements.
Develop effective working relationships with clients.
Communicate with managers and partners, keeping them apprised of project status.
Interaction with clients to help ensure that requests and information is received for the engagement.
Have initiative to learn and develop new audit and attest skills.
Maintain and promote the ideals, values, mission, and vision of Wojeski & Co.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
CPA candidate, if not already obtained.
1+ years of public accounting auditing experience.
Strong computer skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work additional hours during peak client service delivery times.
