Job Description We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, with a focus on leveraging Adaptive Planning to handle detailed data requests. Hybrid position, three days a week (Tues, Wed and Thurs) in office at 222 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex financial datasets, extract insights, and contribute to decision-making processes. Experience in the education industry is highly preferred, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and basic SQL knowledge.
Partner with business leaders on annual budgets, forecasts, and month-end variance analysis, providing actionable insights.
Collaborate with Facilities and Area leaders to drive capital forecasts and prepare accurate, timely capital reporting.
Manage month-end close deliverables as well as Operational and CFO-level reporting, ensuring precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
Serve as SME on customer volume metrics, collecting and reporting on results, analyzing key drivers, and highlighting emerging business trends.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects, providing financial insights that guide decision-making.
Prepare ad hoc analyses and business cases for senior leadership, enabling informed strategic choices.
Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to streamline analysis and support ongoing business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
35 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with Adaptive Insights is required.
Proficiency with BI / reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights.
Proven problem-solving skills and a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in financial analysis and reporting.
