Compensation:

$80,000 to $100,000 annually plus comprehensive benefits.

Job Type:

Full‑Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid – 3 days in office.

LHH is partnered with a dynamic employment litigation firm in Emeryville, CA. This hybrid position requires three days onsite and two days remote per week and focuses on wage and hour, PAGA, and FLSA litigation.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys throughout the litigation process, including case management from intake to trial preparation.

Draft and format legal documents, including motions, notices, and correspondence.

Conduct cite checks and prepare Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents.

Manage discovery, including reviewing and organizing documents, preparing discovery responses, and coordinating with clients and experts.

Assist with legal research and compile evidence for court filings.

Help attorneys prepare for depositions, mediations, and hearings.

Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and manage court filings (state and federal).

Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in employment litigation (plaintiff or defense).

Prior exposure to wage and hour, PAGA, and/or FLSA litigation strongly preferred.

Strong working knowledge of California civil procedure.

Proficiency in drafting legal documents and assisting with motion preparation.

Confident in cite checking, TOA/TOC formatting, and legal formatting standards.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's degree or ABA‑approved paralegal certificate preferred.
