Overview
Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Correctional Facility) reports to the Chief Engineer I. Responsible for repair and maintenance of all vehicles and equipment, including the emergency generators located at the institution. As the garage supervisor, designates work assignments to the Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Auto Mechanic; monitors progress and ensures repairs are completed promptly. Fosters a productive and harmonious work environment.
Working Conditions California State Prison Sacramento is located approximately 30 miles east of downtown Sacramento and just minutes from old town Folsom. Free Parking.
Responsibilities
Oversee repair and maintenance of all vehicles and equipment, including emergency generators at the facility.
Prioritize and designate work assignments to Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Auto Mechanic staff.
Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Foster a productive and harmonious work environment for all staff.
