Job Title: Assistant Professor - Practice
Department: Dentistry | Periodontology
Position Overview The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeks periodontists to apply for a temporary part‑time clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Division of Periodontology. The position offers an academic program with opportunities to contribute to teaching, research and service through clinical supervision, didactic lectures, and support of the division’s continuing education programs.
Responsibilities
Supervision, instruction, and demonstration in the dental student clinic
Supervision, instruction, and demonstration in the graduate periodontal clinic
Giving didactic lectures
Assisting other faculty members with specific tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required: DDS/DMD and/or equivalent degree; periodontal certificate of advanced education in periodontics from a CODA‑accredited program; eligibility for a full or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board
Desired: MS or PhD degree
