Our client — a well-established, award-winning design-build remodeling firm — is seeking a
Residential Estimator/Project Manager
to join their growing team. This high-impact, dual-role position combines detailed preconstruction estimating with hands-on project coordination across a range of custom residential remodels. You’ll collaborate with designers, trade partners, and clients to ensure each project is thoroughly scoped, accurately budgeted, and flawlessly executed — from kitchens and bathrooms to full-home renovations and additions. Project Management Construction and Building Construction Responsibilities & Qualifications
Conduct on-site inspections alongside the design team to understand project scope Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and subcontractor work Gather and evaluate quotes from vendors and trade partners Create and manage detailed estimates, specifications, and scope of work documents Generate and manage purchase orders for all project materials and trades Develop and maintain an internal estimating database that accurately predicts job costs Build and negotiate fixed-unit pricing structures with vendors to support production needs Research new materials, methods, and technologies Standardize installation methods and material specifications across projects 3+ years of residential or commercial estimating
experience required Proven ability to
manage 5+ active projects simultaneously
required Knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, and building codes required Proficient with Microsoft Excel and CRM/estimating software (CoConstruct, BlueBeam, or similar) required Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites required Benefits
