Here’s What You Need
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science required.
5 years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist.
2 years leadership experience preferred.
HT(ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) strongly preferred.
MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire Or CT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) Upon hire
What You Will Do
Supervise all aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory to include the Gross Room, Immunohistochemistry, Frozen Section Rooms, and Specimen Processing.
Oversee work schedules of Histotechnologists.
Resolve quality control discrepancies.
Participate in training of staff.
Ensure Anatomic Pathology Laboratory complies with the CAP guidelines.
